Zhào Xuěfēng
Zhào Xuěfēng 趙雪峰, born in Héběi province in 1982, studied at Peking University, where he took his Master’s degree in Descriptive and Historical Linguistics. He has a particular interest in linguistic geography, dialect studies and phonetics. For the Himalayan Languages Project, he is writing a grammar of Choyo, an endangered Tibeto-Burman language spoken by a dwindling community in a remote enclave in Sìchuān province.
