Pauthang Haokip

Pauthang Haokip, born in 1979 at Thing Kang Phai in Manipur, studied linguistics at the North Eastern Hill University in Shillong and at the Central Institute of Indian Languages in Mysore. He is currently a lecturer in linguistics at Assam University in Silchar. For the Himalayan Languages Project, he is writing a comprehensive analytical grammar of his native language Thadou.
